PhotoTute: Mounting Your Print

this is my first ever tutorial on anything, it was sprung up from a convo with a friend over at #photographers, so I just wanted to make it into a nice visual form for easy reference. Feel free to save it to your computer or print it out for future use I hope this helps anyone who needs some pointers on mounting your prints!

Please make sure you read through the entire tutorial before attempting! Also, practice is key! Try it a few times with some scrap photos and mat board to get used to it. You would hate to ruin a nice print!

[Update!] ~ohimskrewed has kindly provided this link to an alternate blade you can use instead of an exacto knife: [link] so feel free to give that one a shot as well! It is made to cut at a 45 degree angle, which could make the mat cutting process much easier! Enjoy![/Update]
